Access & Machine Route
- Gate widths, overhead clearance and where the truck and float can park
- Whether the 5.5 tonne excavator or the skid steer suits the space
Excavator & Operator (Wet Hire)
Wet hire only: our 5.5 tonne excavator, skid steer (bobcat) and 10 tonne tipper come with our operator at the controls. For trenching, post holes, clean-ups, driveway resheets, drainage and other jobs that don’t need a written quote, book by the hour across the Bundaberg region.

Excavator hire with operator in Bundaberg means you book the machine and the owner-operator together. Hire is charged at an hourly rate after a minimum hire. Call for the current rate and minimum. We bring the excavator, the skid steer or the tipper as the job needs, do the work and leave the site tidy.

A quick conversation, or a site visit for anything unusual, so the hours are spent digging, not working out the job.
Tell us the job and the suburb.
We confirm the machine, the minimum and a start time.
Booking & next steps
Hourly work is booked over the phone or through the enquiry form. For anything unusual we look at the site first.
Tell us the site address, what needs doing and your preferred timing. Photos of the access help.
We confirm the machine, the hourly rate and the minimum hire, and agree a start time.
We arrive with the machine, walk the job with you and get started.
The work is finished, spoil is dealt with as agreed and the site is left tidy.
Our excavator, skid steer and tipper are wet hire only, machine and operator together, charged at an hourly rate after a minimum hire. Call 0480 126 549 for the current rate and minimum. We don’t publish a figure because travel distance, ground conditions and how much spoil needs carting change what an hour achieves.
No. Our own operator runs every machine on every job. If you want to hire a machine and run it yourself, a plant hire company is the better fit.
Yes. Hire is charged hourly after a minimum hire, which covers getting the machine to you and set up. Call for the current minimum. It is confirmed when you book, so there are no surprises on the day.
Yes. Our skid steer comes with the operator on the same hourly-after-minimum basis as the excavator. It suits yard levelling, spreading gravel or soil, clean-ups and tighter spaces where the excavator is more machine than the job needs.
Yes. The skid steer and the 10 tonne tipper go out together with the operator for spreading, loading and cart-away jobs: levelling a yard and removing the excess, bringing in gravel and spreading it, or clearing a site and taking the rubbish away. Same basis as the excavator: an hourly rate after a minimum hire.
For most residential and acreage work, yes. A 5.5 tonne machine digs, lifts and loads far more in an hour than a mini excavator, so trenching, pads, pool digs and clean-ups go quicker. It does need more room to get in than a mini excavator, so tell us about your gate or side access when you call and we will say whether it fits or whether a smaller machine would serve you better.
Our excavator is a 5.5 tonne machine, so it needs more room than a mini excavator but gets through a lot more in an hour. We check access first: gate width, overhead clearance and the route in. If the space really calls for a smaller machine, we tell you before the booking rather than on the day.
Yes. Trenching for water, power and drainage, post holes for fences and sheds, and small drainage runs are typical hourly jobs. Tell us the depth and length and whether the spoil goes back in or gets carted off through the enquiry form.
Trenching, post holes, site and yard clean-ups, spreading or stockpiling material, resheeting a gravel driveway, drainage runs, small clearing jobs and the general earthmoving that comes up on a block or a property. If you are not sure, describe the job and we will tell you.
Yes. Bundaberg, Bargara and the coast, Gin Gin, Childers, Woodgate and Hervey Bay are all part of our service area, and we take suitable jobs out to Agnes Water. The minimum hire covers getting the machine to you; for the outer towns a longer booking or a couple of jobs on the same trip makes the travel work best.
